AtlMMUG Needs A Host Site for October 6th Meeting

A desperate plea is issued.

Macromedia is coming to Atlanta to show off the recently released Studio 8. Of course I am excited about that, but I am also very bewildered: we have no place to host the meeting that I can afford at this time.

The costs of AtlMMUG meetings come directly out of my pocket. I've been lucky in the past by getting the assistance of Fig Leaf and Roundbox to offset the costs of food, but if the site costs money, I pay for it (and in Atlanta that means between $150.00 and $500.00. Having more than a couple of meetings a year makes that fairly expensive.).

We normally have an average attendance of 25 people, but when Macromedia comes to town, I never have an idea how many will be showing up. When Flash MX was released we had 200 people show up, with around 75 RSVPs.

If your office has an auditorium that can fit around 75 people has Internet connectivity and a projection system that is available on the evening of October 6th, please contact me.
