Kenny Bunch's Flash Work Mentioned in the NY Times
Local developer Kenny Bunch, who presented at the April meeting of the Adobe Flash Platform User Group of Atlanta received some great press today and in the New York Times, no less.
In an article titled "Media Innovations, Leaping From Lab to Screen" in Sunday's "Your Money" section, the NY Times said:
"The Ben 10 prototype, the first game to use the PlayStation 3's built-in browser, was such a hit that the network expects to commercialize the technology, which it calls a "megaseries," for some yet-unnamed assets by year-end. "We look at this as an amazing new content window for distribution," said Ross Cox, senior director for entertainment products at Cartoon Network New Media."
Kenny showed us his amazing work with the Ben 10 content in April. We were lucky to have him speak on the very interesting topic of Time Shifting Entertainment even before he had presented that content at Flash in the Can.
Congrats to you, Kenny. We will, of course, be expecting even more from you!
